Invitation to the SARB Biennial Conference panel discussion
The Governor of the South African Reserve Bank (SARB), Lesetja Kganyago, is hosting the Biennial Conference from 24 to 25 October 2019 at the SARB Conference Centre. The theme for this conference is ‘Managing external vulnerabilities: implications for emerging market economies’.
The conference will include research papers and a panel discussion. It will also host subject matter experts from advanced economies as well as emerging and developing economies.
Although the conference is closed to media, you are invited to attend the final panel discussion hosted by Adam Posen on 25 October from 11:10 to 12:30.
The panel members will include:
- the Governor and Deputy Governors of the SARB;
- Luiz Awazu Pereira da Silva;
- Tobias Adrian; and
- Sheila M’Mbijjewe.
