Reflection session on the 1913 Natives’ Land Act Exhibition

The national Department of Rural Development and Land Reform in collaboration with the North West Provincial Government cordially invites you to a reflection session on the 1913 Natives’ Land Act Exhibition scheduled to take place as follows:

Venue: Mmabatho Convention Centre
Time:  16:00 (guest & media arrival starting from 15:00)

The reflection session forms part of the 1913 Natives’ Land Act exhibition programme and involves key stakeholders from the province. The session serves as a platform for participants to share their experiences on the impact of the 1913 Natives’ Land Act.  Veteran Political activist Mme Ruth Mompati and musician Dorothy Masuku will be among those participating in the reflection session.

The reflection session will be preceded by a service delivery workshop hosted by the Department of Rural Development and Land Reform in collaboration with the North West Provincial Government and the District Municipalities to track progress on service delivery in the rural areas.

The one day workshop will take place at Cookes’ Lake in Mafikeng and will be attended by representatives of the three spheres of government, including key role-players such as the Council of Stakeholders from the CRDP sites in the province.
