On Tuesday, 13 August 2013, the North West Provincial Legislature’s Portfolio Committee on Public Works, Roads and Transport will hold a meeting with the Department of Public Works, Road and Transport at the Legislature Chamber at 14h00.
The purpose of the meeting is for the department to brief the Committee on the following issues:
- a detailed report on the Lichtenburg/Koster road
- a detailed report on the Mmamutle road
- a full report of all the costs of both roads (Lichtenburg/Koster & Mmamutle roads)
- a full report on what was budgeted for from the initial year (construction started) to date of both roads (Lichtenburg/Koster & Mmamutle roads).
- a full report of all legal costs of both roads (Lichtenburg/Koster & Mmamutle roads).
All members of the public including business people and taxi associations are invited to attend the meetings.
