The Public Service Commission (PSC) will conduct service delivery inspections at Chris Baragwanath and Steve Biko Academic Hospitals in Gauteng province as part of its service delivery mandate. These inspections are as a result of media reports about various challenges affecting service delivery in the hospitals in Gauteng province.
The inspections will focus on the following areas:
- Management of Deceased patients (Mortuary Services)
- Litigation Management Strategy
- Supply of Medicines
- Patient File Management
- Payment of Service Providers within 30 days.
