Public Protector to commemorate Youth Month in Eastern Cape

Public Protector Adv. Thuli Madonsela will on Tuesday, 24 June 2014 lead her office’s commemoration of Youth Month in Mthatha, Eastern Cape.

The Public Protector’s address will focus on the role played by young people in South Africa to support constitutional democracy.

On her visit, the Public Protector will be accompanied by a team of investigators to take complaints about any alleged service or conduct failure by organs of state in the area.

The event is also aimed at bringing the services of the office closer to communities in the Oliver Tambo District Municipality.
