The Director-General in the Presidency, Dr Cassius Lubisi, in his capacity as Chancellor of the National Orders, will tomorrow, 16 April 2014, announce the names of the 2014 National Orders Recipients - both local citizens and eminent foreign nationals - at a media briefing in Pretoria.
National Orders are the highest awards that South Africa bestows on its citizens or eminent persons from other countries by the President, His Excellency Mr Jacob Zuma. The recipients of the National Orders reflect the inclusiveness and diversity of a democratic South Africa, our people and our place in the African continent and the world.
