KZN Premier Mr Sihle Zikalala will tomorrow conduct unannounced visits to various institutions in and around the Umgungundlovu District as part of the launch of Siyahola Premier’s Monitoring Programme.
Through this program, the Premier will be monitoring progress of government service delivery initiatives.
The programme is aimed at unlocking challenges of blocked projects on the ground, enhancing the performance of the State by dealing with wastage and poor service delivery, ensuring that projects implemented benefit the community and ensuring that frontline service apply the ethos of caring government.
Details of sites which will be visited will only be announced at an assembly point in Pietermaritzburg. Members of the media are requested to be at the gathering point on time.
