KZN Government takes decisive action against crime and tackles service delivery woes in Ugu District
Members of the KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Executive Council led by Premier Nomusa Dube-Ncube will embark on Operation Sukuma Sakhe in Ugu District, as part of government’s more regular and direct assessment of the progress made to resolve community concerns about crime, water, youth unemployment and poverty alleviation.
The Operation Sukuma Sakhe oversight visit will include the launch of free WiFi hotspot at Gamalakhe Taxi Rank by Premier Dube-Ncube.
The programme will include visits to various wards and projects and culminate into a community engagement, which will be intended to provide responses to concerns raised by the communities.
