Premier Kiviet to open Rural Schools Career Expo

Eastern Cape Premier Ms Noxolo Kiviet will tomorrow, Tuesday, 23 July 2013 officially open a Career Expo designed to provide information for high schools learner in the rural areas of Peddie (King Williams Town).

The Expo is organised by the Provincial Skills Development Forum a statutory body representing all skills development stakeholders in the province and is coordinated by the Office of the Premier.

This year marks the second anniversary of the Rural Career Expo, which has established itself as a premier annual event in equipping students and job seekers in rural areas alike with the latest information on further studies, training and career openings that they can explore.

Last year the event was held in Libode and saw over 3 000 learners attending the Expo over two days.

Over 2 600 learners from schools around Peddie are expected to attend the Expo tomorrow which will start at 8h00 at the Ncumisa Kondlo Hall (Peddie).
