Gauteng AIDS Council meeting in Johannesburg – Premier, MECs, Executive Mayor and Councillors to conduct ward based visits
Gauteng Premier David Makhura, MECs, the Executive Mayor of the City of Johannesburg, Cllr Parks Tau and councillors in the province will on Friday, 06 November 2015, visit different wards in the municipal area where various sites will be visited to profile ward-based multi-sectoral programmes, poverty alleviation, prevention programmes on HIV, STIs and TB.
Ahead of the walkabouts, the delegation together with members of the public will participate in the healthy lifestyle promotion through a 7kms cycle/fun run through Braamfontein. The cycle race/run will move from the Theatre Park in Braamfontein, to Fordsburg, Fietas and back to Braamfontein.
