Premier Chupu Mathabatha visits Sekhukhune District for an EXCO Imbizo programme, 7 Nov

The Premier of Limpopo Mr Chupu Stanley Mathabatha and Members of the Executive Council (MECs) will visit the Sekhukhune District for an EXCO Imbizo Programme for a feedback session.

This is a follow-up on the commitments made in 2012 at Syverfontein Village-which is in close proximity to Monsterlus Township. The EXCO Imbizo Programme which took place two years ago yielded favourable results. Revisiting the same district gives a clear indication that government responds to the request made, especially by the members of community. Government’s response to the indentified service delivery issues fulfils the objective of EXCO Imbizo Programme of giving feedback to the communities

The EXCO Imbizo Programme brought about ideal solutions for the community of Syverfontein village. There has been a qualitative change in the water and sanitation service. As a result, the Magukubjane residents are no longer paying for water as the borehole has been drilled and people receive clean running water. Furthermore, government have electrified 55 household in the year 2012.
