MEC of Human Settlements, Helen Sauls-August will host a Post Policy Speech Dialogue with all stakeholders to share priorities and commitments pronounced in the department’s 2014-2015 Policy and Budget Speech.
The session will provide a platform for a two way dialogue which seeks understanding and solutions to issues of mutual concern and plans for a more integrated approach to Human Settlements.
The plans include the upgrading of 18 informal settlements projects across the province, municipal support, creation of job opportunities, acceleration of housing delivery opportunities and the de-densification of Helenvale in the Nelson Mandela Metro and the New Qunu City Project intended to elevate the rural Qunu into a buzzing setting of a reflection on humanity that embodies what the late tata Madiba stood for.
