MEC for Transport, Community Safety and Liaison Mr. Willies Mchunu, together with the MEC for Health Dr. Sibongiseni Dhlomo, will officiate the opening of Mkhuze River Bridge and a clinic that will improve the health system to the community of Fuduka in Vryheid, Abaqulusi Municipality.
Through the bridge the community of Fuduka will now be able to have easy access to social amenities such as the clinic which will also be officially opened. This is part of the government initiatives of delivering much needed services to the community of KwaKhence, Vryheid, and other parts of rural areas of the province.
Both MECs will also announce other multi-million Rand development and job creation programmes that government has undertaken to alleviate poverty and improve the livelihoods of citizens in the area.
