Portfolio Committee on Transport visits Prasa and Mamelodi
The Portfolio Committee on Transport will today visit the offices of the Passenger Rail Agency of SA (PRASA). The Committee will receive a briefing on the implementation of the Rolling Stock Urban Renewal Programme and Dunnotar Plant Construction.
Later in the day the Committee will conduct a site visit to Braamfontein Rolling Stock Depot; Rail Engineering Training Academy, and the proposed site for the Dunnotar Manufacturing Plant in Nigel.
The oversight visit will be concluded with a visit to Mamelodi where public transport had recently been negatively impacted.
