The Portfolio Committee on Rural Development and Land Reform will next week embark on an oversight visit to the offices of the Commission on Restitution and Land Rights in Upington and Pretoria.
The objective of the visit is for the Committee to check the state of readiness for the new lodgement of restitution claims, to understand the challenges and the efficiency of the new electronic system that has been developed by the Commission to speed up the process for claimants.
