The Portfolio Committee on Water and Sanitation will tomorrow receive a briefing by the Department of Water and Sanitation on the progress made regarding the eradication of the bucket system in all nine provinces.
“The Committee views the eradication of the bucket system as well as the provision of quality sanitation as a key programme in the work of the department. It is with this in mind that the Committee seeks to strengthen its oversight role on this particular programme,” said Mr Mlungisi Johnson, the Chairperson of the Committee.
