International Relations and Cooperation Committee engages Academia and Civil Society on Foreign Policy

The Portfolio Committee on International Relations and Cooperation will tomorrow attend the launch of the Parliamentary Handbook on Foreign Policy and have a dialogue with academia and civil society on South Africa’s foreign policy.

The Chairperson of the Committee Mr Masango will share a stage with panelists from academia non-governmental organisations and civil society.

The deliberations will focus on how South Africa should interact with the rest of the world in advancing and realising the objectives of Agenda2063 of a stable world. Mr Masango said the dialogue was important in light of strengthening Parliamentary oversight on foreign policy.
