Parliament conducts oversight visit to Eastern Cape schools and municipal water infrastructure grant projects, 2 to 6 Feb

The Standing Committee on Appropriations will this week, 2 to 6 February 2015 visit the Eastern Cape Province to assess progress of the Accelerated Schools Infrastructure Delivery Initiative (ASIDI) in the OR Tambo and Alfred Nzo District Municipalities.

The Committee will also visit Municipal Water Infrastructure Grant projects in the Ngquza Hill Local Municipality and the Ntabankulu Local Municipality to determine the extent to which the Department of Water and Sanitation’s expenditure has resulted in the delivery of water to the affected communities.
