The Sub-Committee of the Portfolio Committee on Communications will tomorrow, 3 June interview candidates who were shortlisted to fill five vacant positions at the Independent Communication Authority of South Africa (ICASA) Council. They were shortlisted last month on 5 May 2015.
Four vacancies at the Council became available after the term of office for Councillors William Currie and Joseph Lebooa as well as William Stucke and Ntombizodwa Ndlovu expired at the end of September and October 2014 respectively. The fifth vacancy was created when Dr Marcia Socikwa resigned in January 2015.
The interviews will be conducted as follows:
