Ad Hoc Committee meets to consider inviting other role players
The Ad Hoc Committee on Police Minister’s Nkandla report, having received briefings from the Ministers of Police and Public Works respectively, has agreed to meet tomorrow at 17h00 to consider whether it is necessary to call before it other role players.
Ad Hoc Committee Chairperson, Mr Cedric Frolick, took this decision after numerous calls by other Members of the Committee to have the Public Protector and other relevant people appear before the Committee.
Mr Frolick gave Committee members from all political parties an opportunity to engage each other on who else should still be called and then table their report for consideration at tomorrow’s meeting.
