Oscar Pistorius bail application appeal, North Gauteng High Court

Members of the media are advised that the bail application appeal hearing, for the Oscar Pistorius case will take place tomorrow, 28 March 2013, at the North Gauteng High Court.

Please note, we will not be conducting media accreditation, however media registration will still take place.

All media are kindly requested to be inside the courtroom by 09h30, as court proceedings will begin promptly at 10h00. 

Media guidelines “Oscar Pistorius case bail application appeal."

Kindly take note of Judge B. Bamâ™s order on media attendance:

  • All camera, video and audio equipment to be used in court must be in position not later than 9h45 on 28 March 2013 in court 6E,  6th floor;
  • No preferential places are allocated;
  • No equipment may be removed whilst the court is in session;
  • Human movement must be limited;
  • Lighting: No movie lights, flash attachments or artificial lighting devises are permitted during court proceedings;
  • Operating signals: No visible or audible light or signal may be used on any equipment;
  • Conduct of media representatives must be consistent with the decorum and dignity of the court. Silence during the court proceedings is paramount;
  • There is a bar against close-up photographs of the judge, counsel and court personnel.
