The political champion of the uMgungundlovu District who is also the MEC for Finance, Ina Cronjé working with the KZN Premier, Dr Zweli Mkhize and the uMgungundlovu District Municipalities will on Wednesday, 26 June 2013 launch a multi stakeholder campaign against social ills in the Pietermaritzburg Northern areas under the banner of Operation Sukuma Sakhe.
This campaign under the slogan “Be Part of the Change You Want to See” encourages people to be part of the fight against social ills (drugs and substance abuse, domestic violence, alcohol, teenage pregnancy etc.) affecting the northern areas.
