The North West Provincial Legislature will be officially opened on the 22 February 2013, a week following the State of the Nation address by the State President. The Speaker, Hon. Supra Mahumapelo will host the Premier of the North West Provincial Government, Hon. Thandi Modise to deliver the State of the Province address.
The event will take place in the Legislature Chamber and there will be a live broadcast of the event.
A total of 1000 guests will be invited to the Legislature Chamber.
A Preparatory Committee has been established and confirmed on Thursday, 17 January 2013 in its first meeting.
