O re bone, re go bone – Legislature Takes Parliament to the People

The North West Provincial Legislature will be holding the O re bone, re go bone – Taking Parliament to the people at the Bojanala District Municipality from 20 to 21 August 2013.

The “O re bone, re go bone” is a programme that was pronounced by the Speaker, Hon. Supra Mahumapelo, during his 2012/13 Budget Speech. It is aimed at making the Legislature more visible and reachable to the communities; and also to make sure that voices of the people of the province are incorporated in the Legislature Oversight work. The Members of the Legislature will interact with the management of municipalities, Ward Committees, members of the Municipal Public Accounts Committees, organised structures and members of the public following this programme:
