The NRF and DST to honour top scientists in Port Elizabeth

The National Research Foundation (NRF) and Department of Science & Technology (DST) will be paying tribute to top researchers in South Africa at the 28th Annual NRF Awards to be held on Tuesday, 27 August 2013 in Port Elizabeth.

The Deputy Minister of Science and Technology, Mr Michael Masutha and the CEO of the NRF, Dr Albert van Jaarsveld, will honour excellence in research through the awarding of  A and P ratings, as well as three special awards at this year’s ceremony.

The prestigious NRF Awards are an annual celebration of leading researchers in South Africa who work has been recognised by their peers in respect of the impact, quality and the exemplary nature of their research outputs.
