In a bid to intensify the fight against alcohol abuse amongst the youth, the Northern Cape Department of Transport, Safety and Liaison are mobilizing the youth as the festive season approaches.
The youth will be mobilised to form part of Youth Dialogues in the Postmasburg. This will also be a way the department will continue to wage war against crime as alcohol abuse is one of the contributing factors to crime.
The Department aims to not only raise awareness on the challenges relating to alcohol abuse but also increase awareness on the limitless opportunities the youth can access as an alternative to alcohol abuse or crime.
The dialogue will focus on responsible drinking amongst youth out of school while we will also share information on internships and bursary opportunities in the aviation industry and other sectors.
