North West to reach out to communities in Naledi

All provincial service delivery government departments and national departments based in the North West Province are ready to extend their services to communities in Rekgaratlhile Settlement near Stella in Naledi Municipality on Friday.

Various governments will be providing services and educating on how to access some of the services provided by the provincial government.

The Outreach Programme is parts of the projects within the Batho Pele Revitalisation Strategy which gives a platform to review challenges related to services delivery and to showcase and educate citizens on public services and how to access them.

“The Outreach is aimed at promoting and strengthening service delivery by bringing together government departments and State Owned Entities to a central place to deliver services and critical information to our communities,” said Premier Thandi Modise ahead of the programme that she will lead.

Using the theme “Leading the Public Service to Higher Productivity,” the Outreach Programme is premised on a Human Rights perspective and roves across the Province, reaching communities in all districts.

Members of the media are invited to cover the event which is scheduled to be held as from 8 am till 4h30 pm in Rekgaratlhile.

For accreditation kindly RSVP with Pat Dooms at 084 831 4072 by no later than 15h00 Wednesday, 16 October.
