On Wednesday, 5 June 2013, the North West Provincial Legislature’s Portfolio Committee on Sports, Arts and Culture to hold a joint oversight visit with the Portfolio Committee on Economic Development, Environment, Conservation and Tourism at Taung Skull, Greater Taung Local Municipality at 10h00.
The Committees intends to seek clarity on the establishment of a National Museum at Taung Skull as it is classified as a world heritage site.
The meeting will be attended by Members of the Legislature and representatives from the Department of Sports, Arts and Culture and Department of Economic Development, Environment, Conservation and Tourism.
