North West Legislature meets Department of Community Safety and Transport, 27 Jan

On Tuesday, 27 January 2015, the Portfolio Committee on Public Works, Roads, Transport and Community Safety will hold a meeting with the MEC for the Department of Community Safety and Transport, Gaoage Oageng  Molapisi and the senior management of the department at the Legislature Committee Room 2 at 9h00.  

The department will brief the Committee on the  following:

1. Status quo report for new operations on scholar transport;
2. Status quo report for Traffic Officer College and recruitment.

At 11h00, the Committee will meet the department together with the Provincial management of the South African Police Services over:

1. Status quo on the General Activities on Crime and;
2.  Community Police Forums and their functionality.
