North West Legislature Speaker and MPLs to Celebrate Life and Times of Struggle Icon, Oliver Tambo in the Legislature Chamber
On Friday, 27 October 2017, the Speaker of the North West Provincial Legislature, Hon. Sussana Dantjie, Members of the Provincial Legislature (MPLs), staff and community members will celebrate the life and times of our struggle stalwart, Nate Oliver Reginal Tambo in an event that will be held in the Legislature Chamber at 12h00. MPls from all political parties in the Legislature will be paying tribute to the struggle icon.
On the day, the liberation struggle leader would have turned 100 years old. He was a South African anti-apartheid revolutionary who served as the President of the African National Congress from 1967 to 1991.
