North West Department of Local Government and Human Settlements continues to take tough stance against contractors who continue to build shoddy low cost houses. MEC Collen Maine will lead an exercise to demolish at 28 poorly build RDP houses in Huhudi township near Vryburg and blacklist the contractor.
The demolition follows the issuing non-compliance certificate by National Home Builders Regulation Council - NHBRC. The 200 housing unit project housing was kick-started last year in Huhudi.
