Committee to hold a virtual session with various Portfolio Committee heads where DARD will make presentations
The Portfolio Committee on Economic Development and Tourism, Agriculture and Rural Development will on Thursday, 14th May 2020 hold a virtual session with various Portfolio Committee Heads where the department of Agriculture and Rural Development will make presentations of its 3rd Quarter Report, Draft 5 Year Strategic Plan for the years 2020/2025 and the Draft 2020/2021 Annual Performance Plan.
The Committee will make analysis on the department's Performance per Programme and its Audit Action Plans implementation.
The Committee will further reflect on the department's Food Security Programmes and their impact on COVID 19, with specific reference to Matlwang village, Ntswana le Metsing and Phokeng.
The media will be afforded an insight on discussions.
