In honour of uTata Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela, Isithwalandwe, Nobel Peace Laureate, first President of a free South Africa, world icon of non-racial activism, sacrifice, fortitude, peace and reconciliation, and after whom our city is named, the following inter-faith services will be held today (Friday, 6 December 2013):
- 12h00: Inter-Faith Prayer Service at Nangoza Jebe Hall
- 17h00: Prayer Services at Port Elizabeth City Hall, Uitenhage Town Hall, Despatch Town Hall, Daku Hall, Raymond Mhlaba Indoor Sports Centre, Helenvale Resource Centre and George Botha Community Hall
