NCOP to conduct oversight visit and hold public meeting in Sedibeng, Gauteng

The National Council of Provinces’ (NCOP’s) Gauteng delegation will tomorrow, 10 September 2014 engage with the people of Sedibeng on the delivery of services.

The purpose of the public meeting is to give the community of Sedibeng an opportunity to make their voices heard by informing members of the NCOP of their needs and challenges, thereby enabling the NCOP to assess the state of service delivery in the area.

Details of the meeting are as follows:
Date: Wednesday, 10 September 2014
Venue: Sebokeng-Sol Tsotetsi Hall 
Time: 16h00 – 18h30  

The public meeting will be preceded by oversight visits to various projects, including schools, South African Police Service, hospitals, housing projects, renewal development projects and public transport facilities. The delegation comprising of Members of the NCOP and Members of the Gauteng Legislature will depart from Sedibeng Municipality at 09.00am to the various sites.

Further sites to be visited at 14:00 include Sebokeng Hospital, Bophelong International Public Transport facility, R82 Phase 1A & Phase 1B and Savannah City Housing Project.
