National Youth Development Agency sends off youth to participate in an Agricultural Summer School scheduled to take place in Brazil, 15 Jul

NYDA Executive Deputy Chairperson to host send-off dinner in for South African youth to participate in agricultural summer school in Brazil

The Executive Deputy Chairperson of the NYDA Board, Ms Karabo Mohale in collaboration with University of São Paulo, Luiz de Queiroz College of Agriculture will be supporting four South African youth to participate in an Agricultural Summer School scheduled to take place in Brazil from 25th of July to the 5th of August 2022.

The Executive Deputy Chairperson will host a send-off dinner for the South African delegation due to depart South Africa for Brazil next week. The Summer School on “Tropical Biobased Production Systems" aims to present an overview of technologies, economics and environmental scenarios of Brazilian agriculture, forestry and livestock farming in theoretical classes and technical visits. This will give students first-hand experience of the Agri Sector in Brazil and empower them to simulate techniques in their host countries.

Institutions of higher learning represented by the delegation include Central University of Technology, Stellenbosch University, Tshwane University of Technology and University of Limpopo, respectfully. The NYDA wishes the participants the best for their trip and reminds them that they have a responsibility to give back to their communities when they return from Brazil.
