Minister of Transport to address Global Road Safety Partnership Africa Seminar in Cape Town

The Minister of Transport, Honourable Dipuo Peters (MP), will deliver a keynote address at the Global Road Safety Partnership (GRSP) Africa Seminar in Cape Town on Tuesday, 12 August 2014.

Global Road Safety Partnership Africa Seminar is an annual seminar which brings together representatives from across the globe with the main focus being on the African continent.

Some of the African countries attending the seminar include Uganda, Kenya, Zimbabwe, Tanzania and Ethiopia.

In line with the United Nations Decade of Action for Road Safety campaign, the Seminar is spearheaded by GRSP International which is based in Geneva.

Minister Peters will address the Seminar under the topic: “Improving road safety for our children”

South Africa is the third African country to host the seminar, with the first two having been hosted by Zambia and Ethiopia in 2012 and 2013 respectively.
