Minister for Small Business Development, Ms Stella Ndabeni-Abrahams, will on Tuesday, 12 December 2023, deliver a keynote address at the 8th Annual Step Up 2A Green Start Up National Youth Entrepreneurship Awards hosted by Prime Stars in Johannesburg.
The awards are a culmination of one of South Africa’s leading youth entrepreneurship development programmes that celebrates the country’s most innovative young entrepreneurs emanating from under-resourced communities and demonstrates the power of a collaborative Public-Private Partnership model.
The event is expected to be graced by 150 esteemed guests, including corporate executives, business leaders as well as the shortlisted Top 10 young entrepreneurial teams. It is anticipated that about 100 CEOs will attend. By exposing youth to positive role-models from whom they can learn, the programme will inspire entrepreneurship, leadership and innovation in everyday life.
STEP UP 2 A GREEN START-UP seeks to inspire a culture and mindset of entrepreneurship and wealth creation, whilst offering unique insights into the qualities that drive successful entrepreneurs and leaders. The programme will provide practical tools that can easily be applied by budding young entrepreneurs.
