Minister Siyabonga Cwele launches Cybersecurity Hub and Cybersecurity Awareness campaign, 30 Oct

The Minister of Telecommunications and Postal Services Dr Siyabonga Cwele will launch the Cybersecurity Hub and Cybersecurity Awareness Campaign at the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) in Tshwane on Friday, 30 October 2015.

Minister Cwele will be accompanied by stakeholders that include Ministers, Deputy Ministers, Parliamentarians, Chairpersons and Chief Executives of State-Owned Companies, business leaders, industry associations, academia and civil society.

The Cybersecurity Hub is a public interface facility that is aimed at bolstering public awareness and public confidence in using the internet. It is a partnership between government, citizens and the private sector where information and best practices about cybersecurity issues can be shared.
