Team Human Settlements to handover title deeds and newly built houses ahead of Presedential Imbizo
Minister of Human Settlements, Mmamoloko Kubayi and Deputy Minister Pam Tshwete together with the Gauteng MEC for Human Settlements, Urban Planning and CoGTA, Lebogang Maile will handover newly built houses and title deeds to deserving and qualifying beneficiaries of Lesedi Local Municipality.
The Executive Mayor Cllr Mluleki Nkosi will join the delegation at the handover which forms part of the upcoming Presidential Imbizo scheduled for Friday, 12 August 2022 at Sedibeng District Municipality. The Imbizo is aimed at assessing service delivery through the implementation of the District Development Model (DDM). The DDM enables integrated and responsive planning, implementation and budgeting across all spheres of government.
This visit will commence tomorrow with a community engagement and the handover of about 700 title deeds by the Deputy Minister and MEC at the Obed Mthombeni Nkosi Sports Ground.
On Thursday, Minister Mmamoloko Kubayi, MEC Maile and Mayor Nkosi will handover newly built homes and title deeds to mostly women beneficiaries at the Impumelelo township.
