The Minister of Human Settlements, Mmamoloko Kubayi and Deputy Minister Pam Tshwete will tomorrow (Wednesday, 10 May 2023) outline departmental key priorities and performance highlights when tabling the 2023/2024 Budget Vote.
The Budget Vote speech follows the recent announcement on some policy changes, including Emergency Housing Programme to enable the department to respond to disasters effectively and timeously.
Immediately after the tabling of the Budget Vote, Minister Kubayi will host a roundtable discussion on affordable and social housing. This will culminate in a series of engagements in Cape Town, including project launches and a community engagement.
