Minister Lynne Brown to lead a career expo and business engagement in Hout Bay
Minister of Public Enterprises, Lynne Brown together and State Owned Companies’ representatives will present an information sharing platform to learners and the business community in Hangberg, Hout Bay.
More than 800 grade 11-12 learners from surrounding high schools, out-of-school youth in and around Hout Bay, and young entrepreneurs will be exposed to State Owned Companies such as Transnet, Eskom, Denel, SA Express, and Safcol for various opportunities. Higher Education and Training Institutes, exhibitors from local businesses will also showcase various career and business options available and offer information to reach the youths’ goals, fulfill their potential and decrease unemployment.
Minister Brown leads such engagements across the country as a commitment to promoting local and distant employment opportunities and to communicate information about bursaries, internships, learnerships to learners and business opportunities to entrepreneurs.
