Minister of Small Business Development, Honourable Minister Lindiwe Zulu (MP) will lead a 5 kilometer fun walk in Thabong Township (Welkom), Free State on Saturday as part of her department’s community outreach programme.
The Minister will be joined during the Fun Walk by, among others, sporting legends Josiah Thugwana, Bruce Ramokgadi, Khaya Malotana and Lehlohonolo Ledwaba,
Minister Lindiwe Zulu will also use her visit to Thabong to mobilise the community around the 16 Days of Activism against Women and Children Abuse Campaign, as well as bringing small business development services to the community. The Minister will also engage members of the community on issues relating SMME’s and Cooperatives.
Minister Zulu said: “This programme provides those in the SMME sector with the opportunity to share their views and insights on challenges confronting small businesses and cooperatives as well as opportunities that can be seized”.
