Minister Lindiwe Zulu addresses launch of 2017 Global Entrepreneurship Congress, 28 Jul

Minister of Small Business Development, Lindiwe Zulu will give a keynote address at the media launch of the Global Entrepreneurship Congress (GEC), set to take place in Johannesburg in 2017, a first for Africa.

Focusing on hosting African entrepreneurs, innovators and inventors, the GEC is the world’s largest gathering of innovators and job creators, who launch start-ups that bring ideas to life, drive economic growth and expand human welfare.

The Department of Small Business Development, the City of Johannesburg Convention Bureau, Barclays Africa and SEA Africa welcome the prospect of profiling the country as a gateway to Africa, and profiling Johannesburg as a world class African city, business events destination and economic hub.
