The Minister of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs, Lechesa Tsenoli, will hand over a renewed science laboratory and launch a new partnership between the school and the department’s flagship programme– the Community Work Programme (CWP), that will also support the maintenance and security of the school.

The COGTA Ministry was approached by the leadership of the Khayelitsha Development Forum to refurbish the school after it was vandalized. The CWP was therefore roped in to refurbish the vandalized science laboratories, install new windows in all classes with broken windows, paint the school and ceiling, as well as cleaning and maintaining the yards in general.
