The Minister of Justice and Constitutional Development, Mr Jeff Radebe, MP accompanied by the Deputy Minister, John Jeffery, MP will officially launch a Small Claims court in Camperdown. The launch will take place in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal on Thursday, 5 December 2013 at 10h00. It will be followed by an Imbizo where community members will have an opportunity to interact with the Minister’s on justice related issues.
This is part of the department’s commitment to establish a Small Claims Court in every magisterial district country-wide. The Minister will honour, at an evening gala dinner ceremony, the Commissioners who volunteered their time to preside over Small Claims Court matters at no cost to the department.
