The Minister of Justice and Constitutional Development, Mr Jeff Radebe, will officially open a new service point for the Master of the High Court in Cape Town in honour of anti-apartheid stalwart, Dr. Dullah Omar. The Masters Office which was previously located at Iustitia building, Parade Street will now move to bigger premises in 45 Castle Street.

The new premises have been equipped with state of the art technology and will offer paperless estate administration services which will enable practitioners and members of the public to view estate information online. The services of the Master of the High Court are a strategic priority for the department and have recently undergone major revamps.

The relocation of the Master’s services will bring a more dignified environment for the rendering of services, and will also offer the department an opportunity to pay tribute to a hero of the anti-apartheid struggle and former Justice Minister, Dr. Dullah Omar.
