The Minister of Mineral Resources and Energy, Mr Gwede Mantashe (MP) will convene an urgent meeting meeting with the Limpopo Provincial Government, led by Premier, Mr Stanley Mathabatha and Impala Platinum Group Chief Executive Officer, Mr Nico Muller.
The meeting is convened to engage on issues directly affecting the mining industry, in so far as it relates to the Limpopo Province, following a confirmation of mineworkers who were screened and tested for Covid-19 and were found to positive.
