Sport and Recreation Minister and Deputy Minister will together with Western Cape Cultural Affairs and Sport MEC give sporting equipment to schools and clubs around Atlantis
As part of the Department of Sport and Recreation’s Budget Vote, the Minister, Mr FA Mbalula will together with his Deputy and MEC be serving the community of Atlantis, through a community outreach programme on Thursday the 21st of May.
The programme is aimed at empowering and building communities through sport. There the ministers will be handing over sport attire and equipment to a total of 35 schools and clubs from around Atlantis. They will be given equipment and attire of different sporting codes from Boxing to Rugby to Volleyball to name but a few.

Time: 14h00 to 17h00
From 14h00 to 16h00 schools and clubs will be paying modified games for display
16h00 to 17h00: Handover programme will start.
