The Minister of Environmental Affairs, Mrs Edna Molewa, will lead the Global March 4 Elephant, Rhino and Lion in Pretoria on 4 October 2014.
The event in Pretoria is one of more than 130 marches taking place globally to protest elephant and rhino poaching and canned lion hunting. It is being hosted by the Global March for Elephant, Rhino and Lion Pretoria organising team and the Department of Environmental Affairs. Partners include the City of Tshwane, SANParks and Unite Against Poaching.ju
The march will proceed from the Pretoria Rugby Club in Groenkloof along George Storrar Drive to the intersection with Justice Mahomed Street where the procession will turn around and proceed back to the sports grounds.
