Minister Van Rooyen and Premier Mahumapelo to launch Anti-Corruption Strategy
Minister of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs Des Van Rooyen and Bokone Bophirima Premier Supra Mahumapelo will on the 18th of November 2017, launch the newly approved Local Government Anti-Corruption Strategy.
The strategy which will be launched under the theme: Breaking the Chain of Corruption, is aimed at intensifying the fight against fraud and corruption in the Local Government Sphere and equally encourage whistle blowers to report fraudulent or corrupt activities.
The launch will take place as follows:

Build up activities to the launch will include a motorcade road show procession against Greed, Crime and Corruption from Sarafina Hall in Ikageng Township @08h00 to Matlwang village where the Executive Mayor of Dr Kenneth Kaunda District Municipality Barei Mosiane-Segotso will address residents at Matlwang Community Hall on Friday 17th of November 2017. Later that day @18h00 there will also be a Learning Networking Session at Madiba Banquet Hall to be hosted by MEC for Local Government and Human Settlements Galaletsang Gaolaolwe.
